A Two Week Training Program on

"Advanced Analytical Techniques: Basic Principals and Application for Quality Assessment of  Drugs and Pharmaceuticals"
6-17 November 2017 at NIPER-SAS Nagar

 

 

National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (NIPER), SAS Nagar is organizing a two-week training program on, "Advanced Analytical Techniques: Basic Principals and Application for Quality Assessment of Drugs and Pharmaceuticals", from 06th November to 17th November, 2017. This program is sponsored by Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India under Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) and Special Commonwealth Assistance for Africa Program (SCAAP). Total 25 participants from 17 countries (Afghanistan, Botswana, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ethiopia, Gambia, Ghana, Honduras, Indonesia, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Mozambique, Palestine, Seychelles, Tanzania and Zambia) with background of Academia, Drug Regulatory, Pharmacist and Quality Control, are attending this course. NIPER-SAS Nagar is conducting such training courses sponsored by Ministry of External Affairs since last 18 years.

About 15 resource persons from the pharmaceutical industry, research laboratories, academia and regulatory agencies will deliver lectures and participate in the deliberations. About 4 sessions will be held on hands on experience training on different analytical instruments and 03 Industry visits is also a part of this ITEC program.

The Inaugural function of this training program was held on 6th November 2017. Prof. T. R. Sharma, Executive Director, National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute (NABI) was the Chief Guest of the Inaugural function. On the occasion Prof. Raghuram Rao, Director, NIPER-SAS Nagar, Prof. P. V. Bharatam, Dean, NIPER-SAS Nagar, Prof. Sanjay Jachak, Course coordinator and Registrar of the institute addressed the gathering.
