Areas of Interest:
- Oral delivery of macromolecules, with a focus on overcoming challenges related to permeation, solubility, and stability across the gastrointestinal tract (GIT).
- Development of complex injectables (solution & lyophilized), dry powder inhalers, and antibody-drug conjugates.
- Design and optimization of advanced drug delivery systems, including solid oral dosage forms such as immediate-, sustained-, and delayed-release tablets (single or bilayer), capsules, that involved gastroretentive, chronotherapeutic, taste masking, complexation, pellet-based, and amorphous solid dispersions (via spray drying, hot melt extrusion, and solvent precipitation) technology. Emphasis is placed on enhancing bioavailability, minimizing food/PPI interactions, enabling fixed-dose combinations, reducing pill burden/dosage, and converting IR to SR formulations.
- Development of nutraceutical formulations aimed at creating stable dosage forms suitable for a broad age range—from pediatric to geriatric populations.
- Troubleshooting formulation challenges, product stability concerns, bio study (BE and PK) issues and managing scale-up, validation processes and technical support from product ideation to approval.
