It is a matter of pride to inform you that recently, a survey was conducted by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India for National Ranking of the Institutes / Universities and has adjudged, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali) Second in the country in Pharmacy category.

As per data available on website of National Institutional Ranking Framework, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India i.e. https://www.nirfindia.org/Ranking2017.html, a total of 316 entries were found in the list of participation in the Pharmacy category.  Out of 316, ranking of total 50 institutes has been provided.  NIPER, S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali) has scored second position.  The criteria for deciding position is as follow:

 It is worth mentioning that total score of Jamia Hamdard was 73.64 and NIPER, S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali)  scored 73.18, hence,  Institute missed the first position by a few decimal points.
