Technology Development Centre (TDC) - Dosage form (Formulation) : GMP Manufacturing Pilot Plant Facility

NIPER is the only institute in India which is having the Pharmaceutical Formulation manufacturing Pilot plant facility i.e. Technology Development Centre (TDC) - Dosage form (Formulation) at institute level.
The facility is designed and built as per the current Good Manufacturing Practices required for OSD manufacturing (Grade D/ISO class 8). The facility is having of 200 kg batch size capacity with buildup area of 24102 sqft.
 

The facility is offering the following facilities:

• Pharmaceutical Industrial Training (Short term certification course):
  To bridge the gap between academia and industrial requirement, the facility is providing the “Pharmaceutical Industrial Training” to the Pharmacy students (Graduates & Post graduates)- refer attached brochure for details training modules.

• Pharmaceutical Engineering practices (Short term certification course):
  Facility is providing the “Pharmaceutical Engineering Practices” Training to the Engineering Students (Graduates & Post graduates)

• Executing the Industrial projects (Internship programme) for B. Pharmacy Students.

• Support to the Pharmaceutical Industries:

A.   Pharmaceutical Industrial Training (hands on training)/refresher training to the Employees of SMEs on specialized area for one day/Two days/Three Days.

B.   Support to the Startups and SMEs who is not having the training facility with respect to providing the training to new employees, refresher trainings, and periodic mandatory trainings to the employees and maintaining the training records with compliance to the regulatory requirements. 

C.    Support the pharma. industries with respect to execute the scale-up activities, manufacturing of Placebo batches & Technology Transfer of OSD formulations.

• Support to the Pharma Equipment Manufacturers: Taking up the project of manufacturing the dummy tablets for machine trail during design and manufacture of Pharma equipment (Process & Packing)
